Dan Case is the owner of AWOC.COM Publishing and is the editor of their flagship publication, Writing for DOLLARS! He is the co-author of The Complete Guide to Writing and Selling Magazine Articles and author of numerous articles, essays and writes regularly for the “How to Promote Your Book blog” at promote.blogspot.com. His cartoons have appeared in books, magazines, newsletters and in syndication both online and in newspapers. He is also the President of Oklahoma Writers Federation, Inc. (OWFI) for 2009/10.  In 2007, He went on a four thousand mile “search for Sasquatch” trip with author Charles W. Sasser to do research for a book on Bigfoot. Dan lives on a “hobby” farm in Era, Texas (population 124) where he has his office in an old barn.

Since 1997, the beginning of AWOC.COM and Writing for DOLLARS!, Dan Case has helped hundreds of writers become published and paid for the first time. Dan created the very first free searchable database of writer's guidelines on the internet. Writing for DOLLARS! was the first Internet newsletter for writers that was dedicated to the business side of writing. Dan will speak about the top five things you can do as writers to become published AND paid. Laced with success stories of writers that he has coached and/or met throughout his career, Dan will reveal the easiest places to get published, how to sell what you write, and write what will sell.
